Angola Uncharted

“Overlanding Namibia to Angola 2025: Crossing Ruacana Border into the Unknown

Angola 2025 Years of dreaming, months of planning, and now—it’s real. Angola 2025. A land that felt out of reach, shrouded in mystery, is finally within our grasp. This is our big adventure, and we’re diving into the unknown.” With six weeks of traveling a feather in my hat and a dodgy map we head off on a fact finding mission. We are five days away from the border at Ruacana and we take the slow road through Namibia. For many the echos of war are still fresh but Angola needs to tell a new story. One that inspires others to visit this incredible country. All that can Be done is to go. At this point we are at least 5 days away from the border at Ruacana. On the way up through Namibia we take the slow road. “No guidebooks, no bookings—just a rough route sketched out and the open road ahead. Information on Angola isn’t easy to come by unless you’ve got an adventurous *oom* in the family. For us, it’s about forging our own path, telling a new story—one of exploration, and adventure “We’re taking the slow road through Namibia, soaking in every mile as we head toward the Ruacana border, just five days away. The beauty of overlanding is the freedom to take it slow, to let the journey unfold. Out here, every twist in the trail is a question mark, and the only way to find answers is to go.” “Angola’s calling, with its untamed landscapes and untold stories. We’re not just chasing adventure; we’re chasing connection—to the land, its people, and the history we’ll uncover. This is overlanding at its rawest.” “So, here we are, on the edge of something epic. Join us as we cross into Angola and write the next chapter. The unknown is waiting—and we’re ready.”
